the Darkspace Map Editor is online....

The first version of the editor is done, and is going online shortly. The editor is quite easy to use, however there are some tricks you should know about if you plan to use it.

* Cut/Paste/Copy works for all objects on the map, simply left click on a object or empty space to select then paste, copy, or cut. * Holding down the shift button allows you to move a object from one location to another. Hold down shift, left click and drag an object to another location.

* Dragging an object on the map creates a copy of that object, hold down shift to cut then paste the object into a new location.

* Setting the orbit for a planet/star is done by holding down control, left clicking on the object, then drag to the object it's orbiting.


Combat maps now take into account rank for ship selection, however resources are not needed for combat maps.
