Hoi hoi all,
die nächste Version steht kurz vor dem Abschluss.
Es gibt wieder viele Änderungen und Verbesserungen....

There are again many changes and fixes done...
....
-ziemlich viele Bugfixes dabei..zum Beispiel im Mod mode funktioniert das
conecten zu einem anderes server wieder, netzwerkcode- Korrekturen..usw.
-Abgelaufene Events aus dem Kalender werden jetzt automatisch gelöscht
- Bomben und Missiles haben jetzt eine Aktivierungszeit.
Diese Änderung verhindert das Close orbit Bomben....
- Die Graphik des Crystaline ist wieder in Ordnung.
- Es wurde ein Proxy server hinzugefügt, der die weiterleitung zu einem anderen
Server übernimmt.
Damit ist die weiterleitung zu 99,9 % garantiert
- Darkspace ist jetzt auch ohne/mit defekter Soundkarte spielbar
- ELF-Beam ist jetzt Kluth only.
- Wenn ein Moderator in den Mod-Mode wechselt, wird sein Schiff automatisch in
die Garage gebracht :)
- Mod-Mode zeigt jetzt den kompletten ingame Chat. Das beinhaltet dann auch
Private Nachrichten die ingame gesendet werden.
Das beinhaltet NICHT /send nachrichten, diese Nachrichten können nur von
Admins eingesehen werden
- Ein Code wurde hinzugefügt um alte Nachrichten beim Serverwechsel zu löschen
- New network code is now stable, fixed several race conditions through internal testing.
- Fixed a bug which would put you back at the ship selection screen while moving through the metaverse.
- Fixed the /connect command, the client no longer gets disconnected after using the /connect command, forcing them to click on the "Reconnect" button.
- Fixed a bug where the players ship would remain unmoveable after entering the metaverse. This was due to some flags not being cleared last time the ship was in-game, those flags disabled ship dynamics while the ship was jumping.
- Added code to the metaserver to allow gameservers to send real-time communications between each other. This will allow for more extensive intergration of the metaverse as a whole.
- Expired events are now culled from the database daily.
- Bombs and missiles now have an time before they are active and can detonate. This change prevents close orbit bombing, if the bombs or missiles hit the surface before they are armed, they will not explode.
- Fixed the crystalline entity model, it was messed up due to it's scale being reduced.
- Fixed a bug where gadgets in space would appear as their projectile instead of the device mesh.
- Implemented a ProxyServer to handle redirection of the clients from server to server. The proxy server sits between the client and the server, when the server redirects the client to a new server, the proxy server intercepts the message before it's sent to the client and handles the connection for the client, ensuring a 99.9% success rate when changing star systems in the metaverse.
- Fixed some error checking in the audio code, so the game doesn't completely crash/exit if there is an failure of the players sound card and/or drivers.
- Removed the reconnect code from the proxy server which was causing a huge memory leak when the connection to the server was dropped.
- ELF beam is now a k'luth only weapon.
- Fixed a memory leak isolated to the alpha/beta code.
- If a moderator enters moderator mode, any ship they may have in-game is removed to their storage.
- Moderator mode now displays all in-game chat, allowing the moderator to monitor the chat sent between players including private messages sent in-game. This does not include using the /send command, those messages can only be viewed by an administrator.
- Added code to cull old messages when changing screens in-game.
Released
